New vice president of UAE has been appointed
UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, has joined other UAE rulers in offering support to newly appointed Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, after President Sheikh Mohamed’s announcement on Wednesday.
In addition, Sheikh Mohamed named Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed and Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed as Deputy Rulers of Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohammed praised the appointments as a significant step in the country’s development journey and congratulated Sheikh Hazza, Sheikh Tahnoun, Sheikh Mansour, and Sheikh Khaled on their new roles.
Other UAE rulers, including Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, and Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman, also sent congratulatory messages.
