Dubai: New cooperation empowers 10,000 youth for climate action, so it will help young people match their talents and interests to climate careers. Dubai Cares has joined forces with the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC) to establish the “Green Jobs for Youth – Online Training and Mentoring” initiative. This will be a “key step” in education into the global climate and development agenda.

The initiative will help adolescents become climate leaders by comprehending the situation. It will mentor and encourage young people to match their talents and aptitudes with climate careers. Thus, contribute to new solutions that can drive the green economy.

An online course equips students with green skills through technology. Similarly, the mentoring component introduces young people to experienced professionals in the green job sector. In the same way, a policy recommendation document equips decision-makers with data to push for policies that involve more young people in green jobs.
