The UAE government has issued a yellow weather alert because rain and thunder are expected all over the country on Monday and Tuesday. The National Centre of Meteorology sent out warnings for some parts of the Emirates and told people to “be aware” of the rainy weather.

On Monday morning, light rain fell in Al Falah, Bani Yas, the area around the international airport in the capital, and parts of Al Ain and Al Dhafra. The NCM said that on Monday, it will be 32 degrees in Dubai and 35 degrees in Abu Dhabi. But it will be cloudy at times.

Monday and Tuesday are Expected to Have Rain

In its weekly report, the weather service said that it will sometimes be dusty and cloudy, with some convective clouds. There is a chance of rain in some parts of the country, especially in the north, east, and along the coast.

Dust and sand will be around, and the winds will be light to moderate. The sea will be calm to slightly rough, especially when clouds are over the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
On Tuesday, the weather will be the same, but temperatures will drop a lot, especially near the coast.

By Wednesday, the rain will stop. On Wednesday and Thursday, the temperature in Dubai will be 27oC, and on Friday, it will be 29oC. In the capital, the weather will be the same. Early last week, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Masafi, Al Ain, Ghantoot, and some parts of Abu Dhabi city had light rain with thunder.
