Transformation of Dubai Culture into a City-Wide Art Gallery

Plans are underway to turn the entire city of Dubai into one giant museum. One of Dubai Culture’s most ambitious initiatives to date, Dubai Public Art aspires to turn the entire city into a vast outdoor exhibition space. To the tune of Dhs2 million, the city’s public art plan will bring a wide variety of sculptures. In addition, installations, and paintings to the city’s plazas and parks. Similarly, local artists will work with Dubai Culture and Art Dubai as part of Dubai Public Art. So, they improve and expand Dubai’s visual culture.

The Submissions Are Now Open

Anyone living in the United Arab Emirates or the Emirates of the Middle East must encourage yourself to submit proposals for public art projects to Dubai Public Art. To be considered for the first installment, applications must be received no later than Monday, February 13. So, the top picks will publish between March 1 and March 5. After that, the finalists will each get $5,000 to develop a detailed strategy and demo of their work. However, the winner will then reveal by year’s end.
