Abu Dhabi is not just about enjoying iftars and suhoors during the Holy Month of Ramadan. There are a lot of cultural activities that you can participate in, and one such event is The Festival at Masdar City. The Festival has returned to Masdar City with a Ramadan twist and promises to offer a memorable experience for the whole family.

Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s flagship sustainable community, The Festival at Masdar City is open to visitors over the next two weekends from March 31 to April 2, and April 7 to 9, from 9 pm to 1 am. The best part is that entry is absolutely free, so everyone can come and enjoy the festivities.

The Festival will be packed with a variety of activities and live entertainment, creating the perfect family memories during Ramadan. Visitors can look forward to listening to the tunes of the oud player, witnessing the popular tanoura dance, and much more. For those who want a more relaxed atmosphere, they can challenge their loved ones to a friendly game of backgammon or giant Jenga.

Ladies will also have a special treat with a henna station available for them to visit after their meal. The event promises to be Instagram-worthy, as Masdar City will light up with a plethora of Ramadan decorations, creating perfect photo opportunities for the family.

Mohamed Al Breiki, Masdar City’s executive director of sustainable real estate, said, “The holy month is a time for celebration and connection, and we look forward to forging new friendships as we welcome the community to the heart of Masdar City for a festival inspired by the UAE’s culture and traditions.”

The event will take place at Masdar City Podium (Siemens Parking) from March 31 to April 2 and April 7 to 9, 9 pm to 1 am. The entry is free, and visitors are encouraged to come and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan with their loved ones.
