Enjoy weekly flights to different destinations

On Wednesday, flydubai, a flight from Dubai, landed at Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY), where it was greeted with a water cannon salute and a warm greeting from airport staff.

It will now fly to the city five times a week, joining Catania, Naples, and Pisa as part of its Italian route network.

Initiated on March 10 with five weekly departures, service to Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY) is now available. As of April 18, the service will run every day thanks to the carrier’s increased frequency.

To better serve passengers passing through Dubai’s international aviation hub, Emirates will codeshare on these routes and operate flights out of Terminal 3 at Dubai International (DXB).

Flydubai’s CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, has said, “There is a significant demand for travel from Dubai and the area, and our flights to Milan-Bergamo and the other destinations in Italy will allow customers the option to experience convenient direct operations to some of Italy’s most beautiful regions.”

According to SACBO’s Managing Director Emilio Bellingardi, “Passengers may not only visit the center of one of the most popular and appealing tourist sites in the world, but also benefit from a broad network of connections.”

The ancient city of Bergamo in northern Italy will share the title of Italian Capital of Culture 2023 with Brescia. An annual calendar of cultural events showcasing the city’s creative legacy and cutting-edge ingenuity earned the city this distinguished honor.

Date and time of flight

There will be five weekly departures from Terminal 3 at Dubai International (DXB) to Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY). By the 18th of April, the service will become daily.
