The Dubai Mall has introduced a brand-new shopping and lifestyle destination, Chinatown, located on the first floor, opposite the Dubai Ice Rink with direct access to Address Fountain Views. This new destination promises to offer an authentic Asian experience that will immerse visitors in the Orient.

Chinatown is a unique destination that offers an immersive experience for visitors. The space is designed with authentic architecture, fabrics, colors, and tastes that bring a real Chinatown experience to life. As soon as visitors enter the space through the engraved golden gate, they will be transported to a whole new world, fully immersed in the Orient. The space is designed with several interesting features, including a hallway of neon lights and a spot filled with traditional Chinese lanterns. Almost every corner of this new destination is Instagram-able, so visitors can turn their phones into selfie mode and start snapping.
Food and Beverage Spots in Chinatown
No visit to Chinatown is complete without tasting some incredible Chinese cuisine. The huge food court offers a selection of Chinese restaurants. It serves up authentic dishes, from classic dim sum to spicy Sichuan cuisine. Currently, eight food and beverage spots are open, with another eight on the way. Restaurants visitors can currently dine at in Chinatown include Golden Joy Express, Haidilao, Hawker Chan, KOI Thé, Lanzhou Beef Noodle, Nine Squares Restaurant, Starbucks, and Sushi Joy Express. These food concessions are perfect for a quick bite, where visitors can enjoy steaming hot bao buns, crispy spring rolls, hot pot, savory dumplings, and so much more.
Shops in Chinatown
Typically, Chinatowns tend to be a shopper’s paradise, with a wide array of stores. They offer everything from traditional Chinese clothing and accessories to the latest electronics. At the moment, there are two stores in Chinatown. It includes latest tech giant, Xiaomi, and art gallery ftNFT. But many more are opening soon. Xiaomi, a tech powerhouse based in China, specializes in electronics, while Dubai Mall’s ftNFT has launched a store that fuses physical and digital galleries. Visitors can use their credit card to purchase the digital art they want, instead of using crypto.
