Dubai makes a new world record

Dubai on Friday established a new Guinness World Record for having the world’s largest inflatable park.

Situated up in Dubai Parks and Resorts, the inflatable park JumpX is spread over 1,262sqm and can seat as many as 400 people.

“We have beat the Guinness World Record for the largest inflatable bouncy castle. We offer 15 various areas such as a basketball court, obstacle course, fun ball field, and climbing walls among others. The capacity today is 400 persons. But we also have operators inside at crucial areas for the safety of the visitors to regulate the pressure from inflatables,” said Denis Pascal, general manager for operations at Dubai Parks and Resorts.

The previous world record was held by Big Bounce USA in the US, which is spread over over 1,000 sqm.

The formal certificate was delivered by the Guinness World Records’ official adjudicator to Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment.

“We are not only creating a new Guinness World Records title but also offering another unique family experience to Dubai Parks & Resorts,” added Eiroa.

With JumpX, the pricing starts from Dh60 per person for one hour and Dh180 for a family of four individuals.

The inflatable park launch comes after the recent installation of ‘Dino Mania’, a free dinosaur parade at Riverland at Dubai Parks and Resorts.
