Coronavirus updates

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention has announced the latest Covid-19 figures for the country. On Thursday, there were 103 new cases of the virus, with 106 recoveries and no reported deaths. The number of active cases currently stands at 14,299.

The total number of confirmed cases in the UAE as of February 3rd is 1,049,640, while the total number of recoveries is 1,032,993. The death toll remains at 2,348. In efforts to monitor and contain the spread of the virus, over 198,708,321 PCR tests have been conducted in the country.

Overall, the new figures indicate a positive trend in the UAE’s efforts to control the pandemic, with a consistent increase in the number of recoveries and a stable death toll.
