All Types of Visas Are Extended for Next 60 Days

Visitors may now extend the validity of any type of visa given to them for a further 60 days. But it is only once, according to a new service made available through the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs, and Ports Security’s (ICP) smart channels.

ICP emphasized that this could only be done outside of the nation.

There is a Dhs200 price to extend a visa, broken down as follows:

  • Dhs100 for the smart services
  • Dhs50 for the application form
  • Dhs50 for the Authority and the electronic services provided to clients.

The ICP said that the applicant’s passport must have at least three months of validity remaining. Further, he or she must not already be physically present in the UAE before the entrance permit may be given. Applicants with a valid UAE PASS or login can utilize the ICP website and smart application. Thus, in particular to extend the validity of their visas.

Application Procedure

According to the ICP, once all of the necessary information has been entered, all of the necessary papers have been attached. Additionally, all of the payments have been paid, confirmation of the extension will be sent to the applicant’s registered email address.

If you prefer, you can submit your application and fees at any of the ICP-authorized customer satisfaction centers or typing centers. However, here you’ll be asked to fill out an application form and provide the necessary documentation.

If the applicant does not provide the required information and documentation within 30 days of the request becoming due, the request will be electronically denied. So, if it is returned more than twice for insufficient information or papers, the application will be denied. In the event that your request is denied, all associated costs and guarantees will be returned to you.

Permit extend for an additional 60 days

According to ICP, if a tourist is unable to enter the nation before the entrance permission expires, the permit might be extended for an additional 60 days.

ICP stated that “the fees are refunded through the credit card within a period not exceeding six months from the date of submitting the application. ” In the same wat, “the fees are refunded through the procedures applicable to recover the fees by cheque or bank transfer to banks located within the country only and for a period not exceeding 5 years.”
