Ajman’s Ruler Grants Amnesty To 166 Inmates In Advance Of Eid Al-Adha
This humane effort is being made with the intention of granting inmates the opportunity to start a new life and easing the strain placed on their family as a result of their incarceration. On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ajman, has issued an order calling for the release of 166 inmates from the correctional and punitive institutions in Ajman who have maintained exemplary behavior during their time behind bars.
The humane step made by the Ruler of Ajman is aimed at providing inmates with the opportunity to start a new life and easing the strain placed on their family as a result of the challenges they have encountered.
Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ajman Police, commended the Ruler of Ajman for this wonderful gesture, which is aimed at providing happiness to the people and promoting social harmony. He also mentioned that the processes for the release of the inmates will be started immediately.
